Mission Community Church (MISSION) is a community of Jesus followers who gather around the vision of doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). We seek to be a mighty force against injustice both here and abroad, bringing light to the darkness of sex trafficking, extreme poverty, domestic abuse, and homelessness. We seek to be a merciful, safe place for hurting people, to help them recover through the amazing power of the resurrected Lord and a community of people who will truly love them. We seek to humbly continue to strive to be more like Jesus, realizing we’ll never arrive in this life, but we want to be continually moving forward.
twoignite is vital to MISSION because doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God begins at home. It’s our hope to become a people who uniquely reflect to the world the mercy and humility of Christ in our marriages. We hope this marriage movement changes our church one marriage at a time and becomes contagious within our larger community. May God help us as we begin this adventure together!

Woodland Hills is a family church. The thought of the church becoming an organization rather than the family of God is nauseating to us. We want to be Christ followers known by our love for one another. Relationships are not easy, but Christ said that by them we'll be known as his followers. We are committed to loving God and each other. That's the Great Commandment. We want to share in God's heart for the whole world. That is the Great Commission. We strive to balance relational theology and our missional calling.
Marriage and family ministry has always been a part of our DNA. Since the start of our church in 2002, we have been driven to do whatever it takes to divorce-proof marriages. Keeping families together has been our mission. Unfortunately, we have realized that just keeping couples together is not the answer. Many couples stay together but die a slow death of boredom and co-existence.
We want to ignite every couple in our church with adventure! We want to ignite every child, teen, and single with the hope of an amazing marriage!
